Perimeter 2025 Wrapped: Top Moments of the Year
From surprise pop-up events to trail openings and new commute options, 2025 marked a big year for Perimeter (and we loved every minute of it). Here’s a look at our top moments from 2025 that made us energized and excited for what’s ahead.

A New Path Forward: Ashford Dunwoody Trail Opening
One of our standout milestones? The opening of Phase 1 of the Ashford Dunwoody multi-use path. The newly completed 0.4-mile segment introduced a safer, more connected path for commuters and recreational users right through the heart of Perimeter.
The multi-use, two-way stretch links key workplaces and retail destinations, letting Ravinia workers and Crowne Plaza guests safely stroll or bike to Perimeter Mall, Park Place, and several shopping and dining spots in between.
And this is just the beginning: the first phase lays the groundwork for the expanding trail network planned for Perimeter, creating more ways for people to comfortably move without a car. Phase 2 of the Ashford-Dunwoody path will soon connect the recently completed segment to the cycle track in front of Publix at Meadow Lane Rd.
Rapid Ride Hits the Road
We were also thrilled to launch Rapid Ride, Perimeter’s newest commute solution. The custom vanpool program connects groups of five to eight Perimeter workers to share a comfortable, stress-free ride for just $75 per month.
Perimeter Connects, the Perimeter CIDs’ transportation program, handles all the logistics at no cost to employers, matching commuters based on home locations, work schedules, and rider needs.
The result? More commuting options, reduced single-occupancy trips, and happier, less stressed employees.

Local, Regional Leaders Celebrate Progress and ‘Envision’ Perimeter’s Future
May brought the first-ever Envision Perimeter event where more than 250 of the district’s business leaders, commercial real estate partners, and civic officials came together for a look at what’s new and next in Perimeter.
We heard from Georgia DOT Commissioner Russell McMurry; the mayors of Brookhaven, Dunwoody, and Sandy Springs; all three city police chiefs; Cushman & Wakefield’s Ken Ashley; and keynote speaker Dr. Tristan Cleveland of Happy Cities. The event also featured leading companies and organizations, including MarketWake, TriNet, Newell Brands, Dunwoody Nature Center, Create Dunwoody, and others.
Discussions highlighted growth, mobility, and what continues to make Perimeter one of the most attractive districts in the metro area. Thank you to everyone who made this first event such a success. We have some exciting ideas in the works for our next Envision event, coming back in Spring 2026—stay tuned!
Playfully Perimeter: Popping Up with Surprise and Delight Across the District
This year we also introduced Playfully Perimeter, a series of pop-up events designed to activate the district’s public spaces through live entertainment, food, art, and hands-on activities. The goal: introduce residents, workers, and visitors to new businesses and restaurants, creating more reasons to stay longer and explore more. Playfully Perimeter’s events throughout the year featured local favorites like High Street, Game Show Battle Rooms, Puttshack, City Springs Theater Company, Mutation Brewing, Graze Craze, Honeysuckle Gelato, and more.
From lunchtime lawn games to ice skating rink takeovers, Playfully Perimeter’s pop-ups attracted more than 400 people, and we can’t wait to bring even more surprises to you in 2026!

What We Learned: 2025 Perimeter Community-Wide Survey
Our 2025 Perimeter Community-Wide Survey engaged over 1,500 residents and workers, providing a clear snapshot of what people value, how they travel, and what they want to see more of.
Key takeaways:
- Return-to-office momentum continues, but workday flexibility remains strong.
- Transit use is increasing, and significantly more people say Perimeter is easy to get to and around.
- There’s strong demand for additional shopping, dining, and entertainment options, during and after the workday.
This feedback is guiding how we grow and enhance Perimeter to meet community expectations in 2026 and beyond.
Big Wins in Transit, Biking & Cleaner Commutes
Perimeter commuters showed up this year—on trains, on bikes, in carpools, and everywhere in between. Between our district-wide promotions and the latest Georgia Commute Options report, 2025 proved just how much collective impact small daily choices can make.
During Transit Month and Biketober, commuters logged thousands of trips, tried new ways of getting around, and earned rewards along the way:
- 180 free 10-trip MARTA passes given to first-time riders
- 2,300+ transit trips logged
- Active participation from 30+ employers
- 220+ bike-to-work trips completed
On a broader scale, the GCO Alternative Commute Report highlighted how these choices add up:
- Nearly 600,000 vehicle miles reduced
- More than 212 tons of CO₂ emissions avoided
Together, these wins show that Perimeter is embracing cleaner, cost-saving, multimodal travel and building momentum toward a more connected, sustainable district.

Looking Ahead to 2026
2025 set a high bar, and 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger. More mobility options, more public activations, and more ways to connect, work, and play in Perimeter are on the horizon.
We can’t wait to see what comes next, and we hope you’ll join us for the ride. Here’s to a vibrant, connected, and fun 2026!
